Community Guidance Center Receives Sanctuary Model℠ Recertification

Agency exceeds requirements and extends certification to 2026


(Indiana, PA, July 14, 2023) Community Guidance Center ("CGC"), a non-profit leader in mental health, behavioral wellness, and supports/resource coordination was recently recertified by The ANDRUS Sanctuary Institute® of Yonkers, NY in the Sanctuary Model℠ for organizational change. The original certification was granted in 2019 and requires re-evaluation every three years.

Darrin Mikula, CEO, states, "Our organization stands behind the principles of the Sanctuary Model and strives to adhere to the Seven Commitments every day. We understand that trauma affects us all, both consumer and staff."
