Community Guidance Center is proud to announce the expansion of its psychiatric services department to its Northern Cambria office (4205 Crawford Ave, Northern Cambria, PA 15714). Dr. Deanna Rezk, CRNP will be onsite for 4 hours every other Friday beginning Friday, August 9th.
These services can benefit many people from nearby locations in Cambria and Indiana Counties including Cherry Tree, Hastings, Patton, Hillsdale, Westover and more. This important development brings psychiatric services to a region that has a great need for mental and behavioral health care, but lacks nearby providers of these services.
Dr. Rezk grew up in nearby Hillsdale and is very excited to be able to provide mental and behavioral health care to residents of these rural communities. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015 as a doctorally prepared nurse practitioner and has worked for Community Guidance Center since then. She treats children and adults with mental illnesses and disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, substance abuse and others.
In addition to 1 in 4 people in the United States suffering from mental or behavioral health illnesses or disorders, Rezk notes the Northern Cambria area has seen an increase in substance abuse over the years. “To have a psychiatric services provider in the area is a really big deal and I can provide necessary care to this small rural town and surrounding areas.”
